Description
A rich and decadent chocolate mousse cake layered with dark, milk, and white chocolate mousse.
Ingredients

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
- 8 ounces milk chocolate, chopped
- 8 ounces white chocolate, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- While the cake cools, melt the dark chocolate and let it cool slightly.
- Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold in the melted dark chocolate.
- Repeat the previous step for the milk and white chocolate.
- Layer the dark chocolate mousse on top of the cooled cake, followed by the milk chocolate mousse, and finally the white chocolate mousse.
- Chill the cake for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a more intense chocolate flavor, use high-quality chocolate.
- Let the cake sit overnight for the best texture.
