- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups wonton wrappers
- 1 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground pork and beef over medium heat until browned.
- Add the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper; stir until well combined.
- Pour in the chicken broth and let simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a baking dish, layer the wonton wrappers, meat mixture, and shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes until golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
- This dish is best served fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For a spicier version, add chili oil to the meat mixture.
- Feel free to substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
