Description

Delicious and fluffy red lentil bread rolls that are perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup red lentils
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 cup warm water

Instructions

  1. Rinse lentils and cook in water until soft.
  2. Blend cooked lentils with 1 cup of warm water.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and yeast.
  4. Add lentil mixture and olive oil to the dry ingredients.
  5. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
  6. Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
  7. Form into rolls and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes.
