Description

A delicious Keto-friendly dessert that offers the classic flavors of tiramisu without the carbs.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup erythritol or preferred keto sweetener
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brewed espresso, cooled
  • 1/4 cup coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting
  • 20 ladyfingers (keto version or almond flour-based)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  2. In another bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, erythritol, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
  4. In a shallow dish, mix brewed espresso and coffee liqueur.
  5. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture and layer them in a serving dish.
  6. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  7. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers, followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder.

Notes

  • Make sure the espresso is completely cooled before dipping the ladyfingers.
  • For a stronger coffee flavor, use more espresso or coffee liqueur.
