- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 2 cups marinara sauce (low-carb)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat until fully cooked.
- Drain excess fat and mix in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- In a greased casserole dish, layer half of the meat mixture, half of the mozzarella cheese, and half of the pepperoni slices.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add crushed red pepper flakes.
- Feel free to use different toppings like bell peppers or mushrooms.
