Description

A delicious low-carb dish that combines broccoli, cauliflower, and sausage in a creamy cheese sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, cauliflower, cooked sausage, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the heavy cream and half of the cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour the cream mixture over the vegetable and sausage mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
