- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups cauliflower florets
- 1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, cauliflower, cooked sausage, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- In a separate bowl, mix the heavy cream and half of the cheddar cheese.
- Pour the cream mixture over the vegetable and sausage mixture and stir to combine.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Notes
- Feel free to add more vegetables like spinach or bell peppers.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated.
