Ingredients

- 1 pound beef sirloin, cut into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef strips and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onions and garlic. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
- Add the mushrooms and cook until they are tender.
- Stir in the beef broth, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard.
- Bring to a simmer and add the cooked beef back into the skillet.
- Season with salt and pepper and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, use less beef broth.
- This dish pairs well with zucchini noodles or cauliflower rice for a low-carb option.
