- 1 pre-made chocolate pie crust
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 4 ounces German chocolate, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
- Stir in the melted German chocolate until fully incorporated.
- Fold in the coconut and pecans.
- Pour the filling into the chocolate pie crust.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- Chill the pie in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving for better texture.
- Top with whipped cream for added indulgence.
