Description

A rich and decadent German Chocolate Pie made with a chocolate crust, filled with a creamy coconut and pecan topping.


Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made chocolate pie crust
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 4 ounces German chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
  4. Stir in the melted German chocolate until fully incorporated.
  5. Fold in the coconut and pecans.
  6. Pour the filling into the chocolate pie crust.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.
