Description

These easy low carb baked mozzarella sticks are a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional cheese sticks. Perfect for snacking or as an appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Cut the mozzarella cheese into sticks, approximately 1/2 inch wide.
  3. In a bowl, mix together almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  5. Dip each mozzarella stick into the egg, then coat with the almond flour mixture.
  6. Place the coated sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
