- 1 teaspoon ground cumin

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the black soybeans, garlic powder, onion powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and mash the mixture with a potato masher or fork until you reach your desired consistency.
- Stir in the lime juice before serving.
