Description

This Easy Broccoli Rice is a quick and delicious side dish that pairs well with any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the rice, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until water is absorbed.
  3. Meanwhile, steam the broccoli florets until tender.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, steamed broccoli, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  5. Serve hot as a side dish.
