Description

Delicious and healthy zucchini boats filled with all the flavors of a cheeseburger.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium zucchinis
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the zucchinis in half lengthwise and scoop out the insides to create boats.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic over medium heat until cooked through.
  4. Stir in the ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  5. Fill the zucchini boats with the beef mixture and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the zucchini is tender and the cheese is bubbly.
