Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions, salt, and sugar.
  2. Cook, stirring frequently, until onions are caramelized, about 20-25 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, combine the caramelized onions, sour cream, cream cheese, garlic powder, and pepper.
  4. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  5. Stir in the cheddar cheese and chives.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  7. Serve with chips or fresh vegetables.
