Description

Deliciously caramelized mushrooms, perfect as a side dish or topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sprinkle with salt and sugar.
  3. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms are browned and caramelized.
  4. Add the minced garlic and thyme, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve warm as a side dish or topping.
