Description
Delicious and crispy sardine cakes made easily in the air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can sardines in olive oil, drained
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
- Serve hot with your favorite sauce.
Notes
- Can substitute breadcrumbs with crushed crackers for extra crunch.
- Serve with tartar sauce or aioli for added flavor.
