Description

These quick and easy hot dog buns are perfect for a summer barbecue or a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Mix in warm water and melted butter until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let it rise for 30 minutes until doubled in size.
  5. Divide the dough into equal pieces and shape into buns.
  6. Place on a baking sheet, cover, and let rise for another 20 minutes.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

  • For a softer bun, brush the tops with butter right after baking.
