- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 cup diced onions
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the sausage over medium heat until fully cooked.
- Add onions and garlic, cooking until the onions are translucent.
- Stir in chicken broth, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
- Bring to a simmer and let cook for 10 minutes.
- Add spinach and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
