Description

A delicious and creamy keto-friendly green bean casserole recipe.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup fried onions (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the onions and garlic until softened.
  4. Add the heavy cream, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper, stirring until the cheeses are melted and the mixture is smooth.
  5. Combine the green beans with the cheese sauce in a baking dish.
  6. If using, sprinkle the fried onions on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.

Notes
