Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil and cook the chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides.
  3. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  4. Add mushrooms and garlic to the skillet, sautéing until mushrooms are softened.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, thyme, salt, and pepper, stirring to combine.
  6. Add the chicken back into the skillet, simmering until fully cooked.
  7. Top with crumbled bacon before serving.
